Please specify in the title as I was really disappointed to hear the not so nice version. I learned basic Bengali in Calcutta while volunteering for Mother Teresa's Missions there. It's a soft flowing beautiful language and Bengali poems by Bengal-born Rabindranath Tagore received the Nobel prize in Lit. After independence and partition in 1947, Bangladesh became East Pakistan, created for Muslims, as Pakistan was. Bengali there became easily corrupted over the decades and now their Bengali sounds quite different. The creator of this lesson should've known the difference but I guess 'Bangladeshi' in the title wouldn't have got as many downloads, certainly not from me! Lol
