Frances Altorfer and Mairi Smart are language teachers of many years' experience and have taught students of all ages and abilities, using a wide range of interactive teaching methods. Fran has co-authored several Arabic titles in the Teach Yourself range. Mairi is currently teaching Arabic in the United Arab Emirates.
